You guys are awesome. I loved the comments last time. They made me smile. And fortitude, misfit? I think you have the wrong gal, but thank you anyway! :)
Three weeks and two days later I am still bleeding from the miscarriage. I can definitely say I didn't expect it to be this long. It isn't heavy bleeding, and never really was. The worst was in the beginning, on Valentine's day when I had cramps. I called the office to see if they wanted me to do anything and they had me take a pregnancy test to determine if I still had hcg in my system. It was light. It was probably unnecessary, but they wanted me to go in and get a level. It turned out to be 37, so things are doing what they are supposed to. Just slowly. I am definitely relieved to not have to be scheduling a D&C, though I never really thought it would get to that point after all this time. And I am also thankful I didn't see anything recognizable. I am really not sure I could have handled that. Other symptoms I have had are extreme headaches-thankfully only four and one was really short lived. I think these are from hormone levels dropping quickly. I did have some nights I was dead tired as if I was pregnant and passed out early. I simply could not keep my eyes open. And my appetite stayed up a lot longer than I would have liked. But overall, I am glad I opted to do this at home and it was on the mild side considering what it could have been.
I do have a silent prayer request if you all don't mind. I know you guys are rock star prayer warriors, and I am so grateful to have you in my life.

You are such a strong woman of God. Praying for you and your intention.
Continued prayers!
Continuing to pray for you and especially your request. I'm glad we could make you smile. :)
That seems like a long time to be bleeding. I'm praying for you and for your request also.
Last year I miscarried at home too. As traumatizing as it was, I felt grateful to not need a D&C. Hope the bleeding stops and that God sends you lots of healing.
