Our Loss at Christmas Time

You all probably do not know this, but my first loss was at Christmas time.  We have a Wil.low angel on our Christmas tree in remembrance.  In honor of my Michael, and for those of you (most of you, understandably) that haven't had a chance to read from the beginning, here is the story of my first baby, a fighter, my Michael.

*Note I spent some time catching up my blog in the beginning, so this part was never written in real time, hence the incorrect date.  Michael was conceived and passed in 2006, the year I was married.  Sorry the posts are lengthy, I meticulously recorded every detail at the time and then later transferred it to my blog, so the thoughts are fresh.

Oh, he was a fighter!! God bless, sweet Michael. Maybe he is playing with my little Felicity, lost in 2005....

He is such a beautiful little soul! I don't think I've read this story. Heartbreaking. God bless you! I can't imagine how hard that must have been.

Oh that is just heartbreaking. I am so very sorry for the loss of little Michael. It can be so tough every day to remember the loss of a baby, but especially around the "anniversarys". Sending some extra prayers your way this Christmas.

I will add little Michael to my prayers for my little Catherine Grace today.

I have so many tears in my eyes from reading this. Such a fighter and you so very strong for having even the courage of sharing this.

Our Michaels must be playing in Heaven.

Thank so very, very much for sharing this story. Gives me tremendous hope

Oh my goodness, I just read your two posts for the first time and I was near tears. You have such strength to get through such a horrifying experience. My SIL is going through a very similar experience right now, thanks for sharing your story.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. What a sad story full of ups and downs. I cannot imagine going through that. You are so strong to pick up and try again after that. I am glad that this Christmas you have new joy to celebrate along with remembering Micheal.

It's so sad to lose one, especially at Christmas time. 2 years ago today we went in for a routine u/s and found out we'd lost #2. Christmas has never been the same. Thinking of you and Michael today.
